The Friendly Toast was founded in 1994 in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. In 2018 brunch lovers were very happy when Burlington, Vermont got a Friendly Toast location. This beloved New England spot has a cult following for its tasty brunch and Mimosas.
But let’s talk about the real star of any meal – the fries! Unfortunately, we were pretty disappointed with The Friendly Toast’s fries. They were soggy, lacking in flavor and salt, and just not very satisfying. The only saving grace was that they weren't greasy and the portion size was generous.
Overall, we gave these fries a 4.6/10. If you're planning a visit to The Friendly Toast, we’d recommend sticking with the breakfast items instead.
